The Saint-Gobain Group company Mag-Isover (headquarters: Kojimachi, Tokyo) has donated high-performance glass wool insulation materials (16KHG) to a local community center in Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture.

Installation of high-performance glass wool helps support local citizens by enabling more energy-efficient buildings and cultivating comfortable interior spaces.

Since 2011, the Saint-Gobain Group has donated JPY 100 million to Children without Borders, an NPO that provides support for the children who face particularly severe difficulties following the earthquakes and tsunamis of the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster as part of continuing efforts to provide relief for victims and aid in recovery efforts in affected areas.

The Saint-Gobain Group hopes for the quickest recovery possible in affected regions and, through the provision of support, strives to overcome this disaster and subsequent period of rebuilding and achieve recovery together with those affected while endeavoring to achieve sustainable development and growth in Japan.
